Fees

Psychological services are billed at $180 per hour which is the rate suggested by the Psychology Association of Prince Edward Island. Fees are due upon provision of the service, normally at the end of a session. Clients can pay by cash, cheque, debit or credit card. Many private health benefits plans cover psychological services; however, I do not provide direct billing to insurance companies. Clients are encouraged to review their benefits policy to determine whether they have coverage. For therapy, clients can expect that between 8 and 12 sessions of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy are needed to address most issues.

The fee for psychoeducational assessment for a learning disability is $3600 (based on 20 hours of work). Although assessments may take more time to complete, the fee is capped at 20 hours and will not exceed $3600.
